You Are Welcome Here
Love's Restoration Counseling focuses on healing via addressing attachment wounds, unhelpful thought patterns, and maladaptive behaviors. Much of our struggles derive from past experiences that created beliefs or perceptions of the world that now hinder the ability to fully thrive. This practice is about the ways in which therapeutic healing an be achieved through healthy relationship and compassion. Restoring the self through love, acceptance, and adoption of healthy cognitive and behavioral patterns.
The logo features a phoenix rising to depict our individual process of overcoming life's challenges. I chose Love's Restoration because it encompasses all facets of healing and growth. These include the self, relationships, and spirituality. Love is the most powerful act we as humans do. It is my belief, there's no path toward healing without it.
As life presents us with many unexpected challenges that can leave us feeling hurt, lonely, anxious and stressed. Maybe you are struggling with insecurity, uncertainty or a lack of direction. In times of distress, it can be difficult to share with anyone, let alone someone you’ve never met. Building a relationship is the most important step in the counseling process and hinges on empathy, respect and safety within the therapy office. Healing happens when we feel fully accepted while being vulnerable and authentic. This can only be achieved through a strong therapeutic alliance. In this space, you will be welcomed, heard and supported.
I tailor the counseling experience to each individual’s unique needs. By incorporating therapeutic activities, creative resources, and thoughtful discussions, I work to help clients gain self-awareness and utilize new skills. Our time in counseling may also include an exploration of your family-of-origin, goals, present habits and emotional struggles.
Therapy happens at your pace, based on your needs and feedback.
I am passionate about helping individuals grow their confidence, self-acceptance and to utilize inherent gifts to face adversity. I have years of experience serving children, adolescents, families and young adults. If this resonates with you, I would be honored to work with you!
